|Member Retirement Process|
The mandatory retirement age is 67. No member who has reached the age of 67 by the third Thursday in January may be assigned to a committee.
Members who reach retirement age with at least 15 years of satisfactory service become Honorary Members. Honorary Members do not pay dues and are not required to serve on a committee, but they may serve on the Tournament Auxiliary Committee. Honorary Members may purchase to four Rose Bowl Game tickets (no comp tickets).
Members who reach retirement age with fewer than 15 years of satisfactory service become Members Retired. Members Retired continue to pay dues ($75 annually) and are required to serve on the Tournament Auxiliary Committee until they have accrued a total of 15 years, at which time they automatically become Honorary Members. Members Retired may purchase up to four Rose Bowl Game tickets (no comp tickets).
Directors who reach retirement age are elected to Honorary Director status. Honorary Directors are not voting members and do not serve on the Board of Directors.
Presidents continue to serve on Executive Committee for one year following their presidency, as Immediate Past President. They then become Life Directors, and serve on the Board of Directors for life.
A member who has reached the age of 55 with at least 25 years of satisfactory service may request early retirement to Honorary Member status.
All Retired Members (Honorary Members, Members Retired, Honorary Directors, Life Directors) may serve on Tournament Auxiliary and/or may volunteer for Extra Duty opportunities. They are invited to ALL membership events.
